Eureika - Backgammon variants
Eureika is a very simple game, taught to children at an early age in the Middle East to accustom them to setting up a backgammon board. After they have mastered this game, they are taught the variations described above.
The game is a game of 100 per cent luck. There is no skill involved.
Each player places two men each on his four-point, five-point, and six-point, and three men each on his one-point, two-point, and three-point. One die is thrown by each player, with the highest number playing first.
As each roll is made, a man is slid off in front of the corresponding number on the home board. The object of the game is to get all men off.
